Hello journal, it's been a while.
I have, however, been Twittering.
The trip to Vancouver was very successful, in a Dad's surgery way and also in a I'm a Tourist! way. The surgery was supposed to last around five hours, it ended up taking nine. His surgeon met with my brother and I afterwards and told us that he felt he managed to remove 99% of the tumour, and the rest can easily be zapped with radiation. Great relief.
We were down there for a week and a half, and I think I ate my body weight in sushi.
