I see what you mean about a feline crisis. I'm glad Smokey is ok now. It's so rough when our beloved animals are hurting.

You're brave to take Nick on again.

I felt really knocked around too. It probably put my blood glucose level up considerably, last thing on my mind at the time.

Les is taking Nick on again, not me. He will finish the shed sometime, and do a good job, but I would prefer not to have him around.

Poor Smokey, so glad he came through ok. Les should help you out with the cleaning really. I'm thinking of getting one, I can just about afford and frankly I both hate housework and am very bad at it.

We are glad smokey came through also. He is not quite back to normal yet, but displaying certain of his bossy tendencies, so I think he is on the road to recovery.

I don't like housework either, though probably when the renovations are completed it will be easier to keep the house clean. At the moment the rear section of the house is horrible, and until it has been renovated there is not a lot I can do, as even when it is clean it looks dirty. The bathroom floor, which underneath is the original timber boards almost a century old, is now shedding the parquetry veneer tiles that were laid about 40 years ago, and looks like a disaster area. Who am I kidding? It is a disaster area. Oh well, onwards, ever onwards.
