Week 6, day 2. Nick, like the Scarlet Pimpernel, flits in and out. He was here briefly, then went off to the country again for a few days. However, the countertops will be ready next Friday, and he will try to build the rest of the cupboards and install them prior to that time. Virgin's sardine cans sounds like Ryanairs planes over here. Ugh. But they get you places cheaply so I guess you get what you pay for (mostly). I fly the cheap airlines all the time.

I really hope your kitchen gets down soon. What a hassle! But that's teh way renovations go....slowly!

Gardening is therapeutic.

If you can get a cheap fare you get what you pay for, but quite a few of the passengers would be paying full freight, so they aren't getting value for money.

We hope the kitchen will be near complete soon, it has been a very wearying experience, but not as bad since we have somewhere to cook.

I agree, gardening is therapeutic, and it is only recently that I started to yearn for a garden again, so my health has obviously improved.
