I forgot to say that we are still waiting for the plumber's bill. I think he needs an office manager, as it would have been reasonable to ask for a deposit on the work to be done, since it was nearly $6,000 worth. I have to wonder how he keeps his business running in such a haphazard way, since wages and other costs would be considerable. However, for every day the bill is delayed we collect $3.50 in interest on the money, so over more than 10 weeks it has mounted up to a reasonable saving.
