The Divisive Nature of the Democratic Party

Y'know... if Obama and Hillary were to unite, with one of them stooping to take the Vice-Presidential position right now, their combined power would be far greater than the sum of their influence. I think the one to bow would naturally be Hillary... she just doesn't have much to show for her time as Senator. Especially, after her own constituency

If the democrat party has their hopes tied to those two, we’ll see another republican elected president. Obama hasn’t done anything. I suppose that’s a plus insofar as there’s probably not much dirt to be dug up, but it also creates a huge gap for him to build a campaign on. He’s just a charismatic talking head at this point. Not that a lack of substance can keep a candidate out of the WH (read: Bill Clinton).

The greater problem for Obama is Hillary. I think she’d steal too much of the black vote from Obama. Heck, at this point I think it might be a leap of faith to say he’d get it on his own anyway. So I think Hillary would get the ticket for the dems.

But I think Hillary would lose her bid for the presidency badly. I don’t think she’s as popular as she thinks she is, or as the media portrays her to be. In the least, I have zero respect for her. When your spouse publicly humiliates you to the whole world like Bill did, that warrants a divorce, period. When you’re dealing with a woman that will swallow her pride and dignity THAT MUCH to pursue a political career…
