Midday Meal

I've just pulled a roast out of the oven. A tri-tip cut, rubbed in minced garlic and other spices, then roast open in the oven for a good forty-five minutes. (Since I lack a thermometer to check the meat temp) It came out sumptuous. A little Andes mint ice cream afterward rounded the meal out.

I seem to be migrating towards the old habit, mostly observed by farmers now, of eating the largest meal in the middle of the day, and taking much lighter fare for breakfast and supper. Supper... I used to call it "dinner", but it doesn't seem right for a small and simple meal. =)
