Check it out.
This is something all of us can use, when we're out and about. Even if you don't have a web-enabled phone -- Cricket won't be allowing browsing on a phone 'til Christmastime this year -- you can do searches for all kinds of information! Language translation, currency conversion, important facts, driving directions, weather, movie listings, and even complex multi-unit calculations!
I've already begun using it to augment my abilities as a nurse. Like converting someone's weight (in pounds) to kilograms, and figuring out the dosage for certain medications.
It's a brave new, connected world. Any piece of information you need, you can almost get anywhere. In ten more years, the transition to information ubiquity will be complete. I can't even begin to imagine how it will be for my grandchildren.
