Someone amputate my nose. Or my head.

I am in this near-constant, pre-sneeze state. Relief comes in short but intensely powerful sneezing explosions, so powerful that I can feel a painful numbness in my chest and arms for awhile, as my circulation gets a jolt from the massive change in internal pressures. Moments later, I'm squinting and ah-ah-aaahing again, cruelly denied the consummation of a successful sneeze for what seems like aeons at a time. I silently scream to the reticient sneeze demons, mockingly tickling the nooks of my cranium, Please, just DO IT or GO AWAY! Only, don't just sit there!!!

I've intentionally OD'ed on antihistamines, now. I've used some nasal sprays, with little or no effect. What the heck is this? An allergy? It feels like an allergy, but I've had it all morning long. (With some preceding sniffles, during the night) It can't be your typical cold. Gah, I hate this. I've never had it happen before. It's like itching, for the sinuses! (The horror... I would much rather have pain)

I'm beginning to consider more extreme methods... like toothpaste, wasabe or hot pepper, to overwhelm the nerve endings in my nasal passages. I'm going to go jump under a hot shower. I have to go pick up Amy soon. But I even worry about driving, like this.

gah, sickness, health, stuff
