Lockhart Tournament
OK, so we got to miss all of school on Thursday (even I did, even though I got benched by coach the game before) and we went to the outlet mall! Clay like swatted this kid from behind in the first game; we beat Crockett 38-35 first. Then, we beat Lockhart by like 7 (I think like 43-37, not sure though). I had 25 rebounds and 14 points (yeah 25 rebounds no joke). we went back to school and endured a friday. I won't tell you about that night. Today we played Del Valle about noon. Well, I got benched again in the second quarter I think, but I still had like 7 points (one square up 3 point jay). ok we lost that one, but McCallum had already beat Del Valle, so our game was a forfeit one. Even though we lost by like 20. We played Westlake in the finals (LT got blown out by 40 pts). They had like this big kid #44. Of course who get's to guard him--yeah the chop blocker blocked out, me. This kid had like 3 and 1's against LT in the first quarter. Anyways, I held him to like 3 points. Oh it was great Luke Noxin was coming into steal a ball on a fastbreak and from my view (like right next to them) looked like luke tackled the kid without wrapping up. It was awesome, he like laid him out. It took the kid like a minute to get up. We only lost by 10! Hey they had like 5A hops, too. One of their point guards had like a 30" vertical I bet, no joke. It was a really fun game. Bill, and I stayed in the whole game. I had like 7 TO, and only like 7 pts, but I guess I did alright.
