New President / Sub Zero Temps / Job again
Got our new President signed in to office on Tues. Now lets see if something actually changes. . .
Below freezing for over a week now with lots of 0° or below nights, and some single digit days. Yesterday was actually kind of nice. ALMOST hit the freezing mark, and the sun was out all day.
Drove to town yesterday to mail some bills and gas up. Came home, checking the computer, etc, and looked up at the security monitor. DAMN, MY TRUCK IT GONE!! Run outside, all wired and ready for a fight. . . and there's the truck, sitting just fine. Come back inside, look, truck missing. Reboot the camera, TA-DAH!!! there's the truck. Camera obviously froze up when I was gone, LOL.
I get 2 days of work at GTR next week, and that's it. Once again. Position is cut back, but this time I think it could be permanent. Time to look for work, ONCE AGAIN.
Kitty is catching Voles & Mice on a regular basis. Guess that was a good call in July to get a cat. Cheaper than Dcon.
Got the house taxes paid last week, and will have SLR paid this coming week. Ahead of schedule, but a good thing considering the lack of employment. Oh well, this too shall pass.
