Must stop negative thought process
Not too cold, not warm. Typical winter day, just below freezing.
Roy ran out of fuel oil, nothing I can do about that. Kerosene heaters, here we come. Jim want's to borrow money on my credit card to pay his property taxes, Bro John is living in a rented house after the fire.
& I'm broke. hmmmm All the bills are current, but major house taxes are due and I have NO idea what is in store for me with income tax.
Looks like the start of another fine year.
When did my thought process go to the 1/2 empty side of the glass?
It used to be that I would see this as "GREAT, everything is paid current and nothing is due till NEXT week, or NEXT month, etc."
I used to view the months by the holidays and activities, now I view them by what debts are due and how deep the hole is.
Maybe it's just me, just need to change my way of looking at things. Maybe it's the fact that we live in Michigan, which is now the arm-pit of the USA, worst possible place to live financially. Maybe it's the fact that I live near FLINT, which is THE worst place to live in Michigan right now. Or, maybe it's because I have less than a full case of beer left in the fridge. hmmmm. . . we shall see.
