4th of July. . . again
How does that happen? Seems like just a month or so ago that it was July 4th, of '07. Time flies, etc.
Lawn tractor crapped out, and now the yard is getting away from me. If I don't get it mowed in the next week, will have to wait for the browning in the fall.
Roy stopped by for the 4th. Minor cook out, movie, etc. He paid 1/2 his delinquent taxes, so MAYBE he isn't going to lose the house after all.
Bought a sticker to visit the State Parks yesterday. There are SEVERAL within 15 min drive from here. Need to start enjoying the low cost entertainment and get away from my house once in awhile.
Work is about as good as it can be. Johnson gave me a $100 gas card as a bonus for watching the shop while he was gone. Yea, free money!!
Looks like the small tree I transplanted in front of the window is going to live. Shade in 5 years!!! Although, I really can't complain much this year. Haven't ran the air conditioner in about 3 wks except for the occasional cool down for 1/2 hr at night. Gets the humidity out.
Rochelle was in hospital last week for gal bladder operation. She went back in Fri, no details yet.
Odie is 8 yrs old as of the 4th. Happy Birthday Dog
