Merlin is living with Asato and Toph, so he'll be a bit of a hermit this month, aside from the occasional tea session with Emmie. To those, he will seem highly preoccupied, but will keep that to himself. Asato and Toph may also notice that he is spending some time making written plans - in fact, one day, perhaps, a long blueprint might be forgotten on the kitchen table (in the hut), and maybe one of the two hutmates (or both) will realize that these are building plans. for what, though? Mystery.
