My Father is a perfectionist, always has been, and he taught me about the world. Well, I notice that when we want something different than the familiar road we don't see exits or anything interesting. We see boring towns that seem to hold no interest. We look at the poorly marked exits with no place to eat, sleep, or gas and think there is no adventure there. It is interesting when we are looking for something new and something sticks out on an exit (or breaking away from the analogy a person) that we are like wow I've clicked out of highway hypnosis to go explore. I notice often though we find ourselves in unfamiliar places when we don't want to welcome change. Realize that there will often be a road back to those familiar things, but sometimes these exits will spill forth another main road, new places, and wonderfully different things. If you want to see "wonder" and not "discomfort" in foreign things. I think your doing well. I think you want to go somewhere, but your just being careful in what direction you take your first step.

Very well spoken, I will say again, I admire your writing talents. I think I would be better off next time if I invest in a GPS system before I start another journey. Maybe I will pass by a Radio Shack in the next town...
