Oh man, the Shadow's not going to be happy about all that, is he? XD I love it, the little details like covering up his visit and the last part about him leaving singes on the seat cracked me up. Uhhh... I dropped some cigarette ash? Yeah, yeah, that was it...
Heh, there is definite concern on Myra's part, because she has to deal with two Shadows when this little romance is discovered. There's no keeping certain facts from them for long... o_0
Right. Smoking was big then...really. Or she accidentally set her tea kettle down on the seat. Whoops. Really.
*Pictures dual glowers of doom* Johnny is so dead.
It was, and they made it look cool... but my girlfriend's mother is a big smoker and they get burnholes in the couches, tables, even her computer keyboard. Yagh. And you don't mess around with a teakettle. I got a second-degree burn once that way...
Heh, at least he has the Ghost Rider to back him up. (and hellfire. Every tense event is made better by hellfire... x_x )
Yeah, smoking does that. And I agree, teakettles are not something to be taken lightly. Burns....not good, at all. I'm sorry you had just such an occurrence.
Oh my... yes, there needs to be some sort of confrontation meeting at some point. The Shadow is protective of his agents, and particularly of the one he's gotten back from the dead... and he's not fond of demons.
The trick is to set things up properly, so there'll be some sort of confrontation, but a mild one. As of this moment The Shadow is unaware she has an interest in anyone, and we'll just assume he's too busy to notice her latest Nexus post...

Johnny is such a down-to-earth, country cutie, I love his personality to pieces.

I thought he was stuck home at the moment. ;) She's probably have a heart attack if he showed up in the middle of that question.
