bouffe, there's an app for that

(First: wow, look at your awesome French, I'm super impressed!)

Yes, it was for iPhone/iPod touch only before, but a few weeks ago they opened it up on the web. The web version works pretty well, although admittedly it's much easier to use on the go than to try and remember what you ate at the end of the day or something. The database is pretty good, but it's less practical for me since it has mostly American stuff. You can manually add new foods, though, which is super convenient, especially since I'm kind of anal about putting down the exact amount the label says, heh. You can also add recipes, which is nice for me since apparently I always eat the same things. All in all: pretty awesome! And I wish you luck on your calorie-counting endeavors.

I FELT REALLY WEIRD REPLYING TO A FRENCH ENTRY IN ENGLISH, even if replying in French meant opening Word. Is that neurotic? That's probably neurotic.

But that explains it! And that manual addition thing is always nice, I think that's a lot of why I stopped using TDP -- they stopped allowing that because there was too much junk in the database. Which is fair enough I guess, but at the same time... sometimes you need that.

Haha no, I felt weird replying to your French comment in English. But I feel weirder writing in French to English people, like I'm always supposed to be extra careful with my words in order to make my comment a Learning Experience.

Ahh, but with Lose It I'm pretty sure it only adds the custom foods to your database, not everyone's. So no clutter! And you can name foods silly names like I do (I like "Very tasty chocolate-y cereal"). Or you know, something useful so you can find it later, ha.

Eugh, so basically awkward whatever way you slice it. SORRY ABOUT YOUR LIFE.

But that is the perfect solution for everything, that is kind of delightful. I guess I really do need to look into it.
