I've been reading and drawing lately. Something I haven't done very much of in the last few years. I've picked up some of T.E. Lawrence's work after talking to a friend over christmas about the Lawrence of Arabia movie.
Drawing has gone horribly. Whatever skill I had is long gone, sometimes I get lucky but it's bloody depressing sometimes.
I went to the school in niagara I was looking at attending yesterday. It's based out of a house built in the 1830's. Everyone was awesome. I sat in on the traditional carpentry class and even got to get my hands dirty. I am definitely applying.
The job search has yielded little. I'm holding out for a woodworking job. It's easy when I don't need to pay for rent and food. And this living with my parents thing has worked out pretty well so far. It's nice being home actually. Even though the me of 5 years ago is rolling in her grave at the thought. My stress levels are the lowest they've probably ever been. It's kinda nice.
