Remember the hell-hole sweat shop?
It is now the lovely, serene Pica Place of Painting. The doors have two coats of primer on the backs, and one on the fronts.
Yesterday while I was doing the last sanding, Gina and
Myshele - visiting from Scotland - swept and cleared out Pica Place, then put down fresh masking paper, making it all nice for painting. This morning I puttied the hinge holes and the damage from "coaxing" the doors off. Then I used seriously sticky tack cloths to give everything a good wipe down.
I'm wondering about getting all the coats on without getting fingerprints. I think maybe I'll do some details after they're hung. Home Depot has not restocked the pulls I'm using. I hope they do soon.
