Lately, I've been considering a trip to UC Berkeley and San Francisco. I'd really like to see the campus (and maybe a certain someone who lives near campus,) and visit the city (being that I love NorCal.) I have three weeks until I find out about my admissions status to UCLA and UC Berkeley. I figured I wanted to visit while I was still ignorant to my future. It's not much of a fantasy if you visit Berkeley when you know that you will not be attending. :P
However, I've been wishy-washy about the actual trip. Last night I had all but actually decided to not go. I like the area, but it's a lot of money and effort for a trip that may be completely pointless.
So today I was at the school library, working on a fairly sized load of homework.
I needed to print out a program that I had written for C++, but my print fund was out of money.
I went to the print room to put more money into my fund, and on the keyboard of the print terminal was a folded up fortune from a fortune cookie.
I picked the fortune up and unfolded it.
":) You are going to take a vacation. :)"
I smiled and looked up at the ceiling in thought.
I'll be in Berkeley the last week of April.
