Notes/comments: I've made this for Brighty18 after I came to the conclusion that her modding style is comparable to Albus Dumbledore, my favourite character after Harry. I hadn't necessarily meant to, but after I'd made my conclusion, I realised I'd quite like to make more art for her. :D So, I asked her what she wanted and she asked...the dreaded question: Do you ever draw them as adults? Post-Azkaban? I've put aside my misgivings and DONE IT. Under the cut is OotP-era Remus & Sirius! (title & cut is a quote by Jean-Baptiste Alphonse Karr, which, in English, says, "the more things change, the more they stay the same.")

In my head, this scene takes place after Harry floos Grimmauld Place about what he saw in Snape's pensieve -

"He kept messing up his hair," said Harry in a pained voice.

Sirius and Lupin laughed.

"I'd forgotten he used to do that," said Sirius affectionately.

"Was he playing with the Snitch?" said Lupin eagerly.

"Yeah," said Harry, watching uncomprehendingly as Sirius and Lupin beamed reminiscently.

"Well… I thought he was a bit of an idiot."

"Of course he was a bit of an idiot!" said Sirius bracingly, "we were all idiots! Well - not Moony so much," he said fairly, looking at Lupin.

I reckon that, after the requisite amount of correspondence and fussing about Snape ending the Occlumency lessons, the two of them settle back down at the kitchen table and continue reminiscing about James and their Hogwarts days.

Dear brighty18,
I hope you like it, I hope they look like they're supposed to, and thank you for making me step out of my super-comfy comfort-zone.

Love, Jamie xx
