Notes/comments: Well!
Back in November-ish, I decided I wanted to draw for
xkeijukainenx, and to put it best as to why, I'll copy & paste what I wrote to her:
...because you've always been so nice, and you've always always always commented, practically from the start, and your recs and participation for
shaggydog_swap were invaluable. And I feel like, if that kind of kindness and friendship goes unacknowledged and unrecognised...I don't deserve any of it.
So, while I don't presume to think that an equivalent amount of effort in return is one drawing, it's something! And there's so many of you out there! So, I asked what she'd like me to draw, and she said, "Something cuddly like... Remus carding his hands through Sirius' hair just as he's fallen asleep on him while they're reading in front of a fireplace or something." And that is what I've done! Hopefully, at least.

Title is sort of a multi-meaning, play-on-words kinda thing. The book I used as my reference for the book in the drawing was the closest book to me at the time: Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban!! How very appropriate! My favourite quote of the whole series, and is on all my online profiles is from PoA:
"THEN YOU SHOULD HAVE DIED," roared Black. "DIED RATHER THAN BETRAY YOUR FRIENDS, AS WE WOULD HAVE DONE FOR YOU!"
And so, I like that the "done for" is referring to the Marauders, and is a passionate statement of their love and loyalty, but I also like the idea that Remus is done for, because he's fallen so hard for the man asleep on his chest.
Dear
xkeijukainenx,
I really hope you like this, I poured as much happy and love into it as I could. And his hand isn't so much "carding" as it is "stroking"? But, I reckon it's close enough? :DDDDDDDDDD YAY!!!
Love, Jamie xx
