Ode to Book of Mormon Fanart...

Notes/comments: So, I've been really into everything to do with the musical "The Book of Mormon" for the past 3 months or so, and back in June, I finally broke down and did a drawing. This is Jared Gertner as Elder Cunningham (one of 2 main characters) - he's the Cunningham who will be in the San Francisco tour production, so I'll get to see him. He's not the original Cunningham, but I think he's the best, and brought new light to the character that I hadn't thought of, and that - to me - says something about an actor's ability. :D [The image is inspired by the 2012 Tony Performance of "Hello!", as well as a photo from Twitter.] If you don't know the show, these are vaguely interesting because they're more caricature-like than my usual stuff.

Notes/comments: I've fallen prey to the wonderfulness of the musical "The Book of Mormon" by Matt Stone, Trey Parker & Bobby Lopez. This is my second fanart (I finished it last night) and it's of Samantha Marie Ware as Nabulungi (The love interest of Elder Cunningham - and the only character from the show that won the original actress a Tony) - this is the Nabulungi who's in the tour production, and I get to see her in San Francisco! She's not the original Nabulungi, but I think she's just as good! [The drawing is based off of this image posted on tumblr that I can't find the original of: HERE.]
