We planted a garden. YIPPEE. I'm so friggen excited. The only issue is that we actually put it in the ground. So if I get a job before august/september-ish and it's more than 60 miles away, we may have to leave our beloved garden behind. If that happens I'll laugh my ass off. We kept putting off doing this because we kept hoping I'd get a job and the would end up moving. But I have yet to even get close to an interview so it looks like we'll be stuck her for at least a little while longer. If I have to work at a pet store with a JD at least I will have a garden damn it! :)

Our weekend at my dads was good. my grandma was in town and she is such a sweetie I love her like crazy. We went to greenfield village (basically Henry Fords pet project where he moved the actual buildings of cool people like Edison, and the Wright brothers, to Michigan.) It was kind of a slap of reality though because we had to get a wheelchair for my grandma. I forget that she is getting older. My parents were so young when they had me that my grandparents always seemed super young and un-grandparent-like. But otherwise she seems to be in good health so I won't fret too much.

as a side note, I did notice that while we were there I was not cringing at every baby I saw. Instead I was so excited about my future as a momma and enjoyed the cuteness of every baby. Sara and I kept smiling all day. This is a HUGE improvement and I credit it to the books I've been reading. I used to hate "family" attractions because I would invariably have to see four million babies and resent the fact that I didn't have a baby like four million times. But it's much different now. yay :)

Well, I guess that is it for now. I'm off to bed. Tomorrow I have lots of errands to run. I'm taking library books back and picking up another 25 to read! YAY for reading for pleasure. I love it!
