Writer's Block: Costumes

Oct 31, 2008 11:37

Well, I spent the last two weeks literally as a woman due to an Ancient device, so at this point I am extremely content to dress as myself. Plus, I'll be working for a good portion of the day (thank you, Rodney!), and it wouldn't be professional of me to go around Atlantis dressed in some silly costume. If I hadn't been bogged down with the troubles of being a woman, I might have put together a costume from some SciFi channel show or a favorite movie to wear to Colonel Sheppard's Halloween party.

This is one Earth holiday I am glad hasn't quite made it to the Pegasus galaxy. Thank god we don't have children running around the base, knocking on doors saying 'trick or treat' and kicking you in the shins or egging your apartment door later if they don't like what you gave them. The last time I had to deal with the little hellions I had little choice in the matter, stuck on a planet populated by the troublemakers because of a threat to Atlantis base. I returned from M7G-677 looking like I had gone native.

I am not going back there if I can help it.

At least not without chocolate. Thanks Lieutenant Ford...

ooc: To be clear, he is not dressing up like that photo today, he just managed to get a copy of the base's security footage to show what he looked like after the kids on M7G-677 got ahold of him... *;D*
--also, his mun understands his predicament, she is going "as her evil twin" if she gets invited anywhere this weekend. --Didn't take time to put something together...
