last night I danced for a very long time. today I woke up in eagle rock in a zen house, drank tea with soy & had a breakfast of quinoa and spinach and butternut squash. now I sit outside in gloomy weather, smoking on a wooden 4 poster bed with a white curtain over it. I love life.
oh, and this SONG. this song !
Jolene, Jolene, Jolene, Jolene,
I'm begging of you please don't take my man.
Jolene, Jolene, Jolene, Jolene,
Please don't take him just because you can.
Your beauty is beyond compare,
With flaming locks of auburn hair,
With ivory skin and eyes of emerald green.
Your smile is like a breath of spring;
Your voice is soft like summer rain,
And I cannot compete with you, Jolene.
He talks about you in his sleep,
An' there's nothing I can do to keep,
From crying when he calls your name, Jolene.
And I can easily understand,
How you could easily take my man,
But you don't know what he means to me, Jolene.
Jolene, Jolene, Jolene, Jolene,
I'm begging of you please don't take my man.
Jolene, Jolene, Jolene, Jolene,
Please don't take him just because you can.
You could have your choice of men,
But I could never love again.
He's the only one for me, Jolene.
I had to have this talk with you:
My happiness depends on you,
And whatever you decide to do, Jolene.
Jolene, Jolene, Jolene, Jolene,
I'm begging of you please don't take my man.
Jolene, Jolene, Jolene, Jolene,
Please don't take him even though you can.
may first. may first, please believe.
my hair hasn't been this dirty in months. I think the last time was when I was living in a commune with a water spout to wash it in.
"you want to hear this song. well, I don't care if you don't neccesarily want to hear it, but the point is once you've heard it, you'll know you wanted to hear it all along. you listened to it without knowing you wanted to."
those words I always say, life is beautiful.
