Summary: Sungmin mysteriously disappears for half a day, and then appeared with a giant pink thing. What will happen in the unusually peaceful dorm?
“Hyung? Sungmin hyung? Could you help me with preparing breakfast?” Ryeowook asked gently as he poked his head into Kyuhyun and Sungmin’s shared room. However, a sight of Kyuhyun sleeping soundly with his laptop (on sleep mode) beside him greeted Ryeowook. Sighing to himself, Ryeowook wondered out loud “Where could Sungmin hyung go this early in the morning?”
“SUNGMINNIE~~~~~~~~” Heechul’s scream voice could be heard echoing through the whole dorm. “Sungminnie!!! Come shopping with your favourite hyung!! You know you want to~~~” Heechul burst into Kyuhyun and Sungmin’s room, stylishly dressed with makeup already on. “Sungminnie? Aishh! Where did he go?” Eventually, Heechul gave up and resorted to calling ZhouMi (who willingly agreed) to go on a shopping trip to the newly opened mall nearby with him.
Eventually, Kyuhyun woke up from his deep slumber (of course, who wouldn’t be exhausted after a whole night of StarCraft?) and realized his roommate was not in the room. Usually, Sungmin would either be reading a book, learning Chinese or practicing his guitar in the room. Dragging himself out of the room, Kyuhyun went to search for Sungmin in the dorm. However, he could not find Sungmin anywhere, and when he asked, all the member’s replies were “I don’t know” and “I haven’t seen him today”. Giving up, Kyuhyun went back to their room to continue sleeping.
Everything was (surprisingly) peaceful after lunch. Everyone was enjoying their precious day off. Suddenly, the front door opened and in came bouncing a giant pink thing. “Hi everyone! I’m back!” Sungmin’s cheery voice rang from the front door. Not waiting for any reply, Sungmin just placed his shoe neatly on the shoe rack and went to the kitchen to look for something to eat.
In the kitchen, Ryeowook was busy experimenting a new recipe that he didn’t notice someone coming into the kitchen and standing next to him. “Mmm, that looks nice Wookie, can I try it?” Ryeowook jumped a little, then replied “Later hyung, it’s not done yet”, earning a pout from Sungmin, while turning to face him. “Nice dog you have there hyung.” Ryeowook said, smiling when he spotted the giant pink thing Sungmin was hugging. “Thanks, I made it myself,” Sungmin said proudly, but stopped abruptly when he realized what Ryeowook had just said. “What did you say it was?” Ryeowook shrugged and repeated “A pink dog, hyung, I said it was a dog.” “NOOOOO!!!” Sungmin cried out in horror, “It’s a bunny!! Wookie, look properly, it’s a BUNNY!!!” Sungmin shoved the pink dog bunny into Ryeowook’s face, getting a “mmph!” and a muffled reply that sounded suspiciously like “It still looks like a dog to me hyung!”. Disappointed, Sungmin walked out of the kitchen, clutching his pink dog bunny tightly.
Sungmin stomped angrily to the living room and plopped on the couch, where Eunhyuk was dosing off and Donghae had his eye glued on the TV, watching some documentary about fishes on National Geographic. When the program was finally over, Donghae started bouncing excitedly up and down the couch, jerking Eunhyuk awake and rambling about how awesome the fishes were. Eunhyuk helplessly looked up and noticed Sungmin hugging a giant pink thing. “Welcome back Sungmin hyung, and that’s a really cute toy puppy.” With that, Donghae turned around and realized Sungmin was there. “SUNGMIN HYUNG!!! DID YOU SEE THAT?? DID YOU DID YOU DID YOU??? DID YOU SEE THE NEMO FISHES?? Oh, and hyung, that’s a really cute monkey!!” Donghae said, all in one breath. “It looks so much like Hyukkie!” “No it does not!” “Yes is does Hyukkie!!!” “For the last time Lee Donghae, I am NOT a monkey!” Sungmin sighed, and walked away from the living room, unnoticed by the bickering duo.
The day continued with the members saying that Sungmin’s ‘dog plushie’ or ‘puppy’ is cute, Heechul’s dramatic “How could you abandon me and shopping for THAT THING?”, and constant whining of Sungmin “But it’s a BUNNY!” and “No Yesung hyung, it’s definitely NOT a tortoise, and it is NOT going to be Ddangkongma’s playmate.”Finally, Sungmin gave up and accepted whatever the others said about his pink BUNNY.
Exhausted, Sungmin finally decided to go back to his shared room with Kyuhyun to rest. Upon entering the room, he saw Kyuhyun (miracle of all miracles) turning OFF the laptop. Kyuhyun turned to greet Sungmin, “hey Min, welcome back. Where have you been?” Sungmin replied warily “I went for a sewing class to make this”. He held out his pink bunny. Kyuhyun looked at it, admiring the neatness of the work. “Wow great job, Min, it really suits you and represents your personality.” Sungmin, the pink bunny prince, hugged Kyuhyun with joy. “FINALLY, someone who understands me and doesn’t think that this thing here is a dog, a puppy, a monkey or even a tortoise!” Kyuhyun playfully ruffles Sungmin’s hair, “If course I won’t call it something else, it’s so obvious that it’s a fox.” Hearing that, Sungmin let go of Kyuhyun and pushed him away, bawling “It’s a BUNNY, a pink bunny!!! Why does everyone think it’s something else??” He could have sworn there and then, but then again, Sungmin doesn’t swear. Kyuhyun snuck over and picked up the pink fox bunny, examining it. “Hmmm… on second thought, it DOES look like a dog”
Kyuhyun was sent flying across the room with a well-aimed kick from Sungmin.
A/N: Haha this popped into my head when i was blankly staring at my cute PINK toothbrush holder while brushing my teeth XD Again, I hope this is not boring cuz i typed it at 2AM, and i was on autopilot mode. XD Now my head hurts and just now i accidentally pressed the 'back' button, deleting everything i typed here :( then i had to type these agan :(
and, i don't know why i wrote Sungmin like this XD, i don't think he is like this, he is VERY MANLY, ok? LOL i can see the effects of my headache showing now XD
