Past
I've had this journal since August of 2002. Last night, in a reminiscent mood, I began to look at my early journal entries. It's intriguing to see how much I've changed in the past few years.
- I used to be a very narrative writer. I wrote stories about my times in the Philippines, my highschool competitions Mr Rrdwing, the old morning routine at Benet, and other things. I don't nearly write as narratively as I did before. Maybe that's what you get for majoring in the field of Commerce... or from growing/changing.
- I found the entry from the first time I went to the Drake Bowl and met my buddy Tom. Thinking about that day, I can say that was a life changer. Before that point I didn't really know much about dance or really focus on it. Since then, I know I've learned and grown so much... and it's all uphill from there.
- Seeing the old commentors brought a smile to my face. People who used to make me smile a few years back... and for some reason or another, I haven't spoken to them in some time. I tried to fix that last night by posting random hello comments to a few of them... just to say thank you. Returning the favor.
- It's intriguing to see my emotional movements from happy to depressed to confused to impressed to intrigued to growing to...... yeah.
My approach is different, my views are different, I'm different.
