It may seem a bit unseemly to post so many videos from two comedy news services but I think it truly is the better part of valor. Most of the rest of the news services don't have video things you can easily link to or embed. That and they have a tendency to delete their videos within a few days of putting them up in a rather mundane version of plausible deniability.
The videos can't be displayed because they're not there anymore. A simpler soul might say that they're just trying to save space but I would not be that simple. Clearly something deeper and a tad underhanded is at work here.
Whereas both The Daily Show and The Colbert Report delete nothing. They're both fair shows and minus the more insane slant they put on things, actually offer up a fair representation of the facts at hand. I balance this out, much like that nutjob that texts me so often, by watching a great deal of the normal news and it's ongoing conspiracy to say stuff there's no evidence of later and watching these two other shows before I goto bed at night.
Which might make more sense if I ever slept.
Basically the main difference between the two shows is that The Daily Show is more or less fair to all sides represented and The Colbert Report is a bit less fair in the rather constant unfondness focused towards the Democratic Party.
