_subj: new house
ahh, the wonders of moving. i decided to take pictures of myself our sweet new pad. so i here-by present to you:
a tour of the annie, susan, and mike's new humble abode.
we're messy, plus we haven't hardly gotten close to unpacking everything. also: we need a couch.
we have a lovely open staircase:
perfect for chillaxin' good times.
my room:
the evil, slanted bed:
this weird doll that my mom gave me a long time ago, and a cool bear cd holder i got at a yard sale for a quarter:
that bed plus this wind chime:
have kept me up many-a night here. if i'm not rolling off of my bed, i'm being kept up by the wind and the wind chimes nightly wrestling matches. arrggllrrhhe...
look how sleepy i am, because of it:
i look like fifty seven years old!
what's that? a very empty bulletin board, you say? oh maybe it's because mickael took ALL of my push pins to "muffle" his bedroom door for drum playing [grrr..]
here, let us take a closer view:
but at least i found the gravy train!!!! poster that i got for free at the underground that one time. man, i thought that thing was gone for good.
"what else could you ever possibly need?" you ask? well, don't wet yourself, but there is more..
what is that behind me? yes. toilet paper. which means, this townhouse ALSO comes with a bathroom (and a half!)
i had fun with the bathroom mirror. sorry.
but what is this?
i'm five foot five; the shortest person in my family. and the shower head only comes up to like, the bottom of my face! but what's weirder is, the peep-hole on the front door is way too tall for 5'8 mom and 5'11 mike to even see into. whistle_chris's theory is that this place was once lived in by midgets, but they had a giant for a door keeper. i think he just may be correct.
outside:
i am very obsessed with our teenie "backyard", the ugly clumps of brown leaves that are in dyre need of raking [don't look at me..] and the odd creepy tree that lives out there alone.
it's very pretty, but maybe just at night.
ok, so i'm not allowed in mike's room when he's not here, so i didn't want to take any pictures of his room that is WAY bigger than mine (by the way), incase he would use the photos as evidence of my trespassing, later on.
other than that, that's pretty much the whole place. it's okay, i'm just not used to it yet.
ok, bye!
