I want the ocean right now
2005 is almost over so I figured it was time to do the good old livejournal year in review. I'd have to say it was a great year. I had some trouble here and there but it provided me with an incredible learning experience that I would never wish to take back. I feel like I've really grown as a person this year. I've become more in touch with myself and who I want to be. I've set goals....or maybe just thought about them which is a vast improvement for me. So here is my year in review.
Best Moment of 2005: My father and I singing Pink Floyd's "Darkside of the Moon" together as we drove around during the summer.
Worst Moment of 2005: May 21st. Freshmen move-out day. Enough said.
Biggest Accomplisment of 2005: Moving out of my mother's house a week after I got home for summer vacation and living in an apartment, working, and taking care of myself. AND THEN...managing to get back to Hofstra for the fall semester.
Favorite Trip of 2005: Venturing to Boston for a weekend with Mo and Anna to party hard with the Gurevich clan.
Top 5 Favorite Memories of 2005:
~Tray coming in from Florida to visit and us going to my first Happy Hour!! Power Hour X2 in Harry's single where PS showed up TWICE and left us off BOTH times.
~Going to my family reunion for my father's side of the family.
~Having my boys from home come up to 'Stra (Zach, Chad, Nick, and Dahl). Going into the city to the Marijuanna Rally in Battery Park and then over to Greenwich for some street markets.
~The 4th of July Extravaganza at Fawn's House...although I ended up drinking a 5th of Tequila and running around with no pants on. No one puts on a better fireworks display than the Mitchels and you can't beat running into your crazy 12th grade English teacher at the party...while your both highly intoxicated.
~Coming home for spring break after 3 months of being up at the 'stra. Arriving at Rome and Chad's house to all my best friends in the world drinking and smoking and just having the best time.
