Life really is like a box of chocolates...
A) you never know what you are going to get
B) sometimes what you pick tastes amazing or it tastes like shit
C) Generally has a nut and/or something fruity in the middle of it
D) There is a map/directions somewhere (i think God has that copy)
E) It kills people who have Diabetes
I got Loren's gift and card for valentines day, which are both beyond perfect. I don't understand how they can get away with charging $3-$4 for a greeting card. And to think all of this started from some paganism. Basically we can all thank mrs. boone for knowledge about the feast of lupercalia on feb 15th, a pagan holiday. The romans decided to cancel marriages and engagements to get more men to join the army and priest named Valentine secretly wed couples. Anyway he achieved martyr status on feb 14th and was killed for his deeds. They made him a saint and later attempted to hide the pagan roots of the holiday by smothering it with Christianity. Same with christmas, same with easter, same with every other holiday. Basically for every one of those there was some pagan holiday already in place. Example: Your parents say you can either go to this rap concert or we will get you a car and you don't go. Of course you choose a car. You can't ever have you cake and eat it too (i guess that cliche comes from the feast of lupercalia).
Anyway i visited loren this weekend and went up to dahlonega. If you've been there before you are probably set for life. Nothing much changes up there, except the color of leaves between seasons. It was so boring we drove down to atlanta to hang out with her family on saturday. I watched home videos with dee and loren and died laughing over and over. I heard a pre-pubescent brian bone in a christmas play in like elementary school.
I'm finally through with the rapage of tests. Thank Allah.
