It's something you get used to when you work around the landlocked all day long. It's funny, I used to be one of those people, never really believing it could be possible there were really other worlds out there. Oh, sure, it was cool to think about, but possible? Didn't seem like it.

Nope. I had to get violently shunted from my world and sent to a different one against my will for it to sink in. [Dry courtesy laugh.] There were a couple of folks we used to whisper about having come from other worlds, but nobody knew how it could'a been possible.
