my earliest musical memory was listening to this in the top bunk to go to sleep at night in the grey-house in hollister. we only lived there till just about when i turned seven so this was probably when i was five or six. i didn't see fantasia until a year or so later, but i have this entire piece ingrained in my being it seems like. particularly the version the chicago symphony with sir george solti conducting. just looked it up and apparently those box-sets go for $230 used on amazon! wow!
