we may be getting a roomie soon.
she's a quirky and interesting kitchen-witch who's sorta an artsy-fartsy type. she's probably in her mid-40's and is moving because she can't afford her rent anymore after kicking her boyfriend out when she found out he was into drugs and other women.
she seems like just the sort of person who would do us good to live with at the moment and we could really use the financial ease it would bring us.
nothing's solid yet, and before she even comes over to see the house, we need to do some serious cleaning, especially the bathroom where we need to scrape all the gross non-waterproof paint out of the shower that we have been tollerating even though it's impossible to clean aside from, well, scraping it all off!
anyway... whether she actually moves in in the next couple of weeks is still a bit up-in-the-air but it is getting neil to finally move all of his stuff out, and me to do some serious cleaning so it's definitely worthwhile, even if just for that!
ps: it's cold. i'm a bit tired of it. about ready for spring! :P
