I just heard a really awesome song on the radio with an incredibly unusual and cool guitar riff intro that was sorta twangy and was just a really vaguely bizarre and awesome piece of rock! Unfortunately, I only remember one line of the lyric :"long distance" something something something. I could hum a few bars maybe and vaguely indicate the nature of the guitar part but that's it.
So yeah, I heard this awesome song and wanted to remember what it was so I could get a copy, but I've lost it. Waaaaahhh!!!
And no, the radio-station's website doesn't have a tracklisting of what they've been playing either. That was the first thing I checked.
I am seriously irritated that I didn't pay more attention to the lyrics, especially since, as unusual a song as it was, I doubt I'll hear it again anytime soon. Shit!
In other news, I'm about to head out for my friend's birthday and a subsequent three-day weekend! Man I hope I can make it there without going to sleep in the car! xP
