Tagaytay Weekend

Jul 27, 2008 23:33

Happy birthday, zzis Lalaine! And thanks for the treats! :P

We (Kaye, Pam, Mliza and I) were initially planning a day trip to Tagaytay because I wanted to practice my out-of-town driving skills and to also drop by at the Nike Outlet Store in Paseo Sta. Rosa (as suggested by Kaye, who is encouraging me to enroll at Fitness First!), but it didn't push through for various reasons.

Hence, we scheduled the Tagaytay trip for another weekend and since Lalaine was so enthusiastic in joining, we decided (without her consensus, I may add) to schedule it on her birthday weekend. Someone then suggested an overnight Tagaytay trip, to which everyone agreed. It's been some time since we had an overnight adventure as the past few months have been mostly composed of rushed lunches and a few birthday celebrations.

Still, there were a lot of obstacles for this trip. There were work issues, family matters, transpo coordination and accommodation searchings. But fortunately, the kinks were eventually ironed out and off we went...

Kaye & Mliza, my roadtrip buddies (pinkrabbit17 took the picture) at Petron SLEX. Waiting for Lalaine, Annie, Pam and & Zhe. Surprisingly (or unsurprisingly?), they still got lost going to SLEX. They took the wrong flyover in Magallanes and ended up in Pasay City. Lol.

Finally, they've arrived!

1. Lalaine - for the accommodation and food treats. Napasubo ka yata, hehe!
2. Zhe - for the wonderful shots. We hope we'll remember your photography tips.
3. Pam - for reminding me that the camera is not a magic tool, haha!
4. Annie - for searching for our accommodation.
5. Mliza, Kaye & Terry - for keeping me awake while I was driving!
