Since I started working, I can truthfully say that I’ve been saved by God several times already. Take the following very recent instances:
I was doing research for a senior partner and for two days, I subscribed to a certain premise. I was really working hard because this particular topic doesn't have a lot of precedent and most of my answers are based on guesswork and on my own opinion, which unfortunately doesn't really count much. Then last night, while I was racking my brains to finalize the memo, I suddenly had a complete turnaround from my previous premise. It was instantaneous. I was nervous because my final answer is completely opposite from the premise that I had subscribed to for several days. I prayed to God when I emailed the memo to the partner. When I went to her room, she said, "I agree with your conclusion." Thank you, Lord! :)
Then now, when I thought I was screwing up a contract review after making a good impression at yesterday's meeting (based from the comments of my teammates which I actually still find hard to believe because I feel that I still wasn't knowledgeable and prepared enough to handle the questions from the partners), I stumbled on this previously neglected clause in the contract. After reading this hundred-page contract several times already, I still discover unfamiliar provisions! I really admire the partners who could easily spot issues and problems on their first read. Still I was uncertain on whether such provision would be applicable to our case but I decided to take the risk and emailed the partner about my "discovery". She emailed back and told me that "this is quite helpful". Again, thank you, Lord! :)

As D-day comes nearer and nearer, I know that God is with me.
