Harry Potter Day
Finally after days of waiting and trying to avoid spoiler sites, I got hold of my copy this morning. Powerbooks-GB already had 2 very long queues when my sister pinkrabbit17 and I arrived at about 6:30am. GMA sent its news team to cover the "event" and the two girls in front of us were even interviewed (while we tried hard to hide behind the shelves :P)
After having our breakfast at Coffee Bean, we immediately went home and I started reading the book at about 9am. I was determined to finish it in one day because I have to study again tomorrow and I need that closure from Harry Potter before I could fully concentrate on anything else.
My sister was witness to my apprehension as I read each chapter. I sighed, I tossed and turned, and yes, I cried.
