This is a public service announcement that Carolyn is AWESOME. Why you ask? Because she introduced me to Ravelry, which is officially the best thing ever. I've been using it to figure out what I want to do with all this sweet-ass alpaca I got for x-mas. Rockkk.
With the help of Ravelry I have decided upon a tan reversible plaited/braided scarf and a grey fitted sweater. I might run out of yarn on that sweater, but, we'll see ... if I do, I can try the Sideways Spencer!
Also today I spent a good deal of time wandering around Hyde Park with the grad student in that lab I want to go into again. It seems like said lab is good people. PLUS AWESOME PROFESSOR. Want want want.
