Drabbles. All 100 words, all about one or more Hetalia females

1. Beginnings
Characters: Natasha, Yekaterina, mentions of Ivan
Fandom: Axis Powers Hetalia
Rating: G
Genre: Angst, Fluff

She laughed and brushed snow from her sister's too-thin cloak. "No, no, this trip's not about him." Cool air hit her where her scarf had once been. "It's about you."

"Why should it be." Those eyes... when had they gotten this expression when looking at her? They had once had all liked each other the same. But now... maybe it was because Ivan was the boy.

"Because it is your birthday, sweetheart." But she would always try to ignore that. Always try to love both of them the same, even if Belarus chose brother over sister. “And only yours.”

2. Middles
Characters: Switzerland, Liechtenstein, mentions of Austria
Fandom: Axis Powers Hetalia
Rating: PG
Genre. Angst

It was a strange feeling, like falling, deeper and deeper, until she would hit the ground. Like climbing her highest mountain and jumping, waiting for the bones and flesh shattering, deadly contact with the ground. And while she felt bitter and sad about being abandoned to die, just like this - she also felt free, nearly high. Like when she had first been on horseback.

And right when she closed her eyes and spread her arms to take that final step forward, a hand reached out to her, caught her, and held her. She couldn't jump. But she wouldn't fall, either.

3. Ends
Characters: Mother Greece, mentions of Persia, Rome, mother Egypt, Egypt and Greece
Fandom: Axis Powers Hetalia
Rating: PG
Genre: Angst

There he was, the glorious, eternal empire, stretching from the Bosporus to the far away mountains of middle Asia. Dying, leaving behind his boychild. That nobody should want to adopt. And yet she knew that Rome would; he seemed to like to take care of those that others left behind. That Egypt and Germania and so many others before them had left behind.

She looked down at her own baby, precious, beloved - this innocent boy that once would be his mothers death. Because no nation could bear children without knowing that they would once take their name, people and land.

4. Insides
Characters: Jeanne d'Arc, mentions of France and random French people
Fandom: Axis Powers Hetalia
Rating: PG
Genre: Angst

They always said that she must love France more than herself. They always said that her love for her country outdid everyone else's, that the fiery passion of her feelings was what made her so convincing, strong, inspiring.

Sometimes she wondered if those feelings were a good thing. Because Francis Bonnefoy had made it clear very early on that he thought of her as a beloved daughter and never let her forget that he was no man that she could marry and bear children.

It was really ironic to hear them say that she loved her country above any man.

5. Outsides
Characters: England, Elisabeth
Fandom: Axis Powers Hetalia
Rating: PG
genre: Angst, Romance

He had always been on the outside, looking in. Into his children's lives, into the dealings of continental Europe, into the doings of his colonies. He just could never connect to them properly, no matter how hard he tried.

Until she had come around. Smiling, taking his arm, laughing for him in a way that nobody else ever saw. He knew he should not love any one of his children more than the others, but when he realized that he was falling for her, it was already too late.

England wasn't socially incapable, like others claimed. He eternally missed her.
