More Ertia, yey! Bunch of sketches I did when I was recuperating from iceskating this Saturday. XD; We've spent... about five hours in there? At least? And that's only if I suppose it took us an entire hour to get there from the ice ring in our crippled granny speed. XD;;;
Ertia the half-dragon half-dwarf! :D
She's a child of surprise, because nobody was expecting anything to come out of that pairing. But magic is a tricky thing, and dragons are full of it. Oh yes, blaming poor Ertia on rainbows and unicorns. There's never enough of rainbows and unicorns!
She's lived with the stain of being weakling misfit freak of nature different, but her dragon!mother protected her... somewhat, so she didn't grow up into a bitter person.
She never really interacted with her father's side of the family, apart from learning the blacksmith craft. They tend to be nervous around her. She's not one of theirs and she's got the blood of their traditional enemy, but she's too powerful for them to take down not to mention the mandatory retribution. Ertia's dwarven father would have stepped in and beaten some sense into them, but he died a hero when she was young and his clan expelled her.
The topic of her origins is still a touchy subject for her, but she just punches the person's face in and walks on.
Another of Ertia's features is high magic resistance. It would take a master of wizardry to harm her with a spell directly. Setting her surroundings on fire works just fine... supposing you make sure she doesn't get away. Then you're seconds from meeting your liver as it goes out your nose. However the same thing goes for healing spells. Should you wish to heal a fractured bone, you'd have to go epic. Or maybe ressurection spell would do.

Ertia's a lightweight like you wouldn't believe. It's true that dwarves are supposed to have high tolerance, but you build this stuff up, right? Living with her mother, she's never had a chance to.
