We got two estimates today on our furnace. They were about a thousand dollars off from each other, but both fairly expensive. We did, however, know this going in. Tim had set up a home equity line in order to do it sooner. Now he is freaking out about the cost and does not want to do the home equity line or the furnace. I'm freaking a little about money, too, but I think we're going to have to replace the furnace in the spring anyway. We will have to discuss more.
I'm more freaking out that WDW is less than a month away and I feel like everything is caving in on me. Papers and final next week. Christmas. WDW. TO's birthday. Last semester of classes. AHHHHH I'm going to need a vacation to recover from the vacation! On top of that, after months of no new skills TO has decided that he will race to finish at least one new thing a week. This week he has mastered "Bye bye" and "So big" (though not on demand and not at appropriate times--he doesn't know that "bye bye" comes when someone is leaving and that "so big" does not have to happen in your high chair with a teething ring in your hands). Next on the list? He apparently wants to crawl and talk. Yesterday and today he has been the most vocal, saying "DADADADADA" all day long, but never directed at Tim. Also, he can scoot on his butt now (while sitting) and he is rocking a little to get his butt off the ground and moving his hands in front of him. He has the hand motions of crawling down to a science, he just has to realize that his legs need to move, too. Otherwise he falls on his face and we have screamer baby.
Well, I'd better go work on my paper before I get any more stressed out. Oh, one more cool thing: Tim's aunt sent us a box full of toys for TO for Christmas (with a card saying from the whole family, but we know they aren't). Funny how after just a few emails I'm the new favorite neice-in-law and TO is the golden boy. The child is so spoiled and he's only 11 mos!
