It's a Small World After All...

Over 2 months to go before our trip and already I'm singing this song. Why? Well, last night I went to a Pampered Chef party with a friend of mine who used to work at an elementary school in the town I grew up in. Most of the people at the party were related to the schools in the town in some way. One woman was the step-grandmother of a girl who graduated with me (I wasn't particularly fond of this girl, either). Another woman used to work in the attendance office at the high school. It took her a while to place me, but when I told her my maiden name she knew who I was. She must have had a horrible opinion of me--I was in that office almost every month asleep on the cot while I waited for my dad to pick me up. Of course, now we know why I was sick all the time, but back then it must have seemed very fishy. I mean, I never had a fever or anything--no outward signs of distress. Plus I came in late all the time on the mornings when my stomach was particularly bad. Not to mention the doctors appointments my senior year. I bet she got to know my sister even better with all of her appointments and such. Of course, at least my sister had a note from the doctor explaining about the Crohn's. Anyway, despite that I had a fun time and actually bought some stuff. I did eat a little while there and only got sick a little.

On a side note, we saw TO's doctor today and he said to expect the front two teeth within the next week. THANK GOD THERE IS AN END IN SIGHT! Also, TO learned to clap today--YEAH and APPLAUSE (of course)!
