commitment-fearing men

in some recent conversations with some of my male friends, the topic of commitment has come several times. And most guys that i've talked to, have said that at least at one point during their dating experiences, they have been completely fet up with it and actually labled themselves as "afraid of commitment". Some of these guys, however, are currently in very strong, long-term relationships. So, what, i asked myself, caused these very commital men to ever decide that they actually had a phobia of commitment?? When gilman freshman, nato responded that he doesn't "like the attachment". Another gilman freshman, sam poggi, agrees in saying, "having a girlfriend means that they get pissed whenever u do something that they dont like". This statement was clearly bias off of the fact that he was recently in some relationship in which the girl had constantly gotten "pissed" at him. But if boys generalize relationships based off of passed ones, then aren't we all just trying to surpass the experiences that our men have had with those horrible relationships before? why is it that we have to pay for other women's annoying faults and habbits?
