School aint to shabby this year. :)
Mr. Monroe is an excellent teacher. I'm the manager of the orchestra. I'm also concertmaster. Which isn't saying much, but it makes me look good. So when they called all the club leaders and stuff like that at mass today I got to go up. And they gave me an ursuline pen... goody. Anyways, I truly think that Mr. Monroe can MAYBE get us to decent by the end of the year.

And maybe it was the different group of people in the 2nd orchestra class, but I could have sworn he got us here the very next day:

So hey! We'll see how things go. I also play violin for the liturgies now. And in addition to chamber orchestra and music theory 2, I'm going to be in Sinfonia as well! I actually have to formally audition for it, (which has already been set up for monday..morning) like in the actual class description. I feel so loved... Mr. Monroe has TIME for us...
And then, Studio is going just fine. I like art. It's fun. People think I'm better at art than I really am. And some think I'm worse at art than I really am. Or maybe that's just me. Mrs. Burton is coocoo bananas. That's about all there is to say at that class.
Believe it or not, my next favorite class is... Christian Ethics. o.O We discuss a lot of interesting issues about the world. Yes, I have to hear what the church's view is on it, but then there wouldn't be anything to argue if I didn't get to hear it's view, right? So yeah. No smiting for disagreeing with the church. It's open and comfortable and Mrs. Kristof is really nice. And plus, no exam for the class. And no tests. Just.. quizzes... and random assignments that take literally 2 minutes. That's about it.
And then all that's left is World Civ 2 (ugh. Not as bad as I thought it would be, but not exactly my cup of tea either), Algebra 2 (it's easy so far. Not sure how I feel about the class yet), English 3. I've literally had 1 real English class so far, and that was just for the first day of school. The teacher has been absent ever since, I think she's sick or something. So I have no idea if I like the class or not. However, using my judgement on the first day, Ms. Lavely is no Ms. Schellhous...
and that concludes my week. BAYSO starts again next week. Katie and Noreen are in it with me! *^_^* And that one sophomore that plays viola. I wont pretend to know how to spell her name, but it sounds like E-shay. She's really really nice. So polite and civil. o.O And Dave got into CSYO on trombone, so he'll be in it with me next year! squee!
And I FINALLY meet with Mr. Dukic next week as well. AHH I PICKED UP LALO'S SYMPHONY ESPAGNOLE TODAY! *^_^* I love it love it love it. And it's easier than Bruch too, so I should probably start learning that one instead. *dances around like a pixie again*
Tonight seth and me and my dad went to work on the puzzle. :) We're so cool. The puzzle is a picture of angels with giant wings and this big giant sun-like thing that appears to be on fire in the sky and there's a castle in the sky too... and these pillars and angels are sitting on them and one is playing the violin. Pretty *_*
Right. I work tomorrow at 7. @__@ nighty night!
