Evening!
A quick hello from Limerick. Quite enjoying myself and the company, we apparently can yarn for hours - it led to laughing whilst rolling on the floor before a security camera;
working on becoming an alcoholic due to the better tasting ales and beers here, but haven't smoked one cigarette all the time (!)
No time to write postcards till now :/ We're always on the way to see something, and we're wet all the time due to slight raining, which happens to be ALL THE EFFING TIME.
Saw: Dublin, Newgrange Cairn, the Boyne (old lady), too many cathedrals and churches of both confessions; Cashel, Drogheda, Kilkenny, not in that order.
Went up into a sheep pasture and uphill through sheep dumplings and saw the 'Piper and dancers', a stone circle, important to every Discworld fan. Saw no elves...too much iron around my body ;( (Pratchett fans will understand this, too)
The people are saying "Sorry!" so much, we're always poking fun at them.
I even made a sign with a big "Sorry!" to show to other car drivers - but Roman is quite good at switching to driving on the left.
My English got actually worse...the Irish have their own way of stating and writing things, and they've got a strange sense of humour. "Arrive alive" on the toll station on a motorway...
K, I have to find out how to get to the Skellig islands now. See you!
