"of mice and men!"
ok. so.. short.
i saw memoirs of a geisha and walk the line. both were good. the highlight was seeing tyler hilton! woot. :) but both of those happened in the midst of the last entry.
since the last entry...
went to see Enter the Haggis perform finally. it was lots and lots of fun. Even if we DID have to pay double the cover charge because we were under 21, and we were branded w/ 4 x's and quarantined into the kids section. :( and got yelled at for jumping on the chairs. hahahh it was fun fun fun
my dad's two sisters and their corresponding husbands, came over and we all played charades. and by the way, jeopardy is a reallllyyy hard word to act out. But it was lots of fun- surprisingly enough. "book!" "4 words" "little word..." "of!" "of mice and men!!" that was ridiculous. or how about "book" "two words" "spider.... web!!" "Webster's Dictionary" what the heck. "oh.. i'm not very good at doing anything after 11" the other team kicked our "collective asses" haha
We had a catastrophe in church w/ an elderly member fainting. that was really weird. it was so silent. and then we thought the emergency vehicles had had a wreck on the way to the hospital- when in reality, they were just parked in the intersection because there was a car on fire. I'm talking major flames here.
we went skiing!! it was, of course- lots and lots of fun. The weather was great- not so hot that the snow was melting, and not so cold that you were.. cold. haha and they weren't making snow so that was really nice too. It was a little crowded, but I guess that's to be expected for a holiday- even if it is a minor holiday like martin luther king day. In the beginning, Me, clara, dad, sarah, jessica, and rebbecca tried to stay together. but that proved way too difficult w/ the lines the way they were. So until lunch, me clara and dad split off from the rest and went skiing just the 3 of us. And after lunch, dad left for the blacks and me and clara skied together. it was lots of fun. I kinda missed skiing w/ sarah and.. sarah :( who didn't come. but it was better this way i think because we didn't have to wait on each other bc me and clara ski about the same pace. i didn't fall any! that was exciting. course it's probably because i didn't really go on hard ones bc they scare me. luckily, they scare clara too so i didn't feel bad not wanting to go on them.
i have become addicted to wheat thins. ..
2nd semester at tech has started. break was too long- it made being lazy all day feel way too normal so coming back to classes was rather a drag. But i missed the people here, so i'm glad to see them again. And classes are pretty good so far. I still haven't had my chem or physics labs, or vector geometry- but atleast calculus is 100 times better than last semester-- my teacher's really good! yaayy. Physics however, is going to SUCK. Our professor has this awful accent, and the light in the stupid physics room BUZZES. drives me CRAAAZZZYYY! haha at least Christin's in there w/ me so when one doesn't catch what he says, the other of us normally do. and i think the chem lab's going to suck bc its at 8 am. booo. i suck at mornings. haha annd yeah, great news- my engineering exam this semester is at 7:45am again. WHAT!? and i don't think i can bank on snow to get me out of it this time either. grr.
haha i bought the rest of my books yesterday at the bookstore-- ahhhh i have lots of books. i had to buy 9 books. and i have 2 from before that i'm able to use still.
anyway, i need to go do some stupid homework and i think ill call mommaaa bc i haven't talked to her since monday at 5:30 am.
