Perhaps people would be startled, but I can't imagine why they'd be scared.

Oh! My ghost train! Um, not a fair ground ride. They're supposed to be a reminder to the living to pay their respects to their deceased, but no one really does that any more... So they just get scared.

... Oh. Sorry! I--um. I don't know if I'm as pretty as Mama, but I look normal in the light.
