AE AE AE<<33 I sing your praises! But really: WHY MUST YOU END SO SOON D: I want Anime Evolution to be more than once a year. I'd be fully happy with twice a year but hey =\ More than once please D:
At least it comes sooner for '09...June 10 - 12th at the Vancouver Convention and Exhibition Center. I really hope to god that I have no exams that week cause if I do I will actually CRY. At the rate things are going though it seems like I'll only be attending two of the actual three days =| Ah well. That's what I did this year. But if I do try to do Artist Alley next year that means I'll cut into one day's worth of *possible* profit. Meh. What a problem.
So many epic cosplayers<3 I la-la-loved the Jack Sparrow that showed up, he was pretty great. I also really like the PW Turnabout Otaku Panel where I saw the most amazing Apollo Justice XD; Also managed to take a creeper picture of the Jake Marshell cosplayer who was having a nap on the bench outside the buliding. What made me really happy though was the Godot who looked suspiciously like my senpai (but it wasn't. Thank God. That would have been awakward.) PLUSSSSSSSS they had a freakin' PW MUSICAL. A MUSICAL. Seriously. I died and went to heaven when I heard Larry singing. It was great. It was epicness for the win. I want more =]
I'd have to say that the one thing I didn't really like was the fact that people kept bumping into my poor Reaper wings. By the time con ended they were kinda...droopy. Which made me uber sad cause I burned myself a billion times with the hot glue gun to finish those up. At least I came out with them mostly in tact? I wanna try make them out of foam if I do Uzuki one year though. I'm figuring it'll be a lot harder but at least they'll be more stable and more durable than cardboard paper, wire and tons of hot glue XD;
I've already decided on next year's cosplay though which makes me excited :3~~ The Zashiki Warashi from xXxHolic backed up with Kimmy's Ame Warashi XD; I kinda sorta wanted to do Uzuki for '09 cause I still had the wings but then I thought about her white boots...What the hell am I supposed to do with those after AE ends? I'm not gonna go to school in them cause they're just not practical and I'll get weird looks not that I already don't but hey. Another year then. And I realllyy want to do a PW cosplay. Probably gonna have to go with Maya or something cause she'd be the easiest for me. And I'm so tempted to do Vera from AJ or even Alita from AJ too lol. I saw a really nice Alita this year at con<3 That made me happy. And I saw the cutest Trucy -- and now I'm rambling. I'll stop. I swear.
