Yes, once again I will be less active due to the fact that I seriously just need to step back from all this for a little. 'll still be around, just... not playing as much for the next few days, until I can clear my head. Sorry. I do, on the other hand, have time for drabbles and such-like, so --
There was only one real way to carry yourself with dignity, and that was respect. For oneself and more importantly, so much more importantly, for others. He stood prouder than his niece not because of his actions but because of his respect for those around him. She had no use for others and in the end he didn't really think she had faith in herself. So he could afford to stop for tea, to indulge in whims, because he had a dignity which came from something much deeper, much stronger. Which reminded him - wasn't it time for a nice bath?
